  This was only our second visit to this office. Our first visit was not so bad. Overall, Dr. Chu was friendly, easy to get to know and feel comfortable with kind of person. Our waiting time was not so bad. We were in an out in an hour's time. Anyways, yesterday was our second visit. We were waiting for over 3 hours to see Dr. Chu for 5 minutes top. He has a sign in patient list. So when we signed in, we know exactly where we were on the list, and how many patients he would be calling before us. Well, as I was counting the number of patients he called, it went over the number I had counted. So I got up and went to check the list. I asked one of the girls at the front desk about how this doctor calling his patients from this list, and she said, if he calls and person is not there, then he proceed to the next one who responds, and after that patient, then he goes back and call the ones who missed, before he continues down the list. We were waiting over 3 hours just to see him for 5 minutes. That was ridiculous. When we finally get to see him, I made a suggestion to him. As I was trying to give my suggestion, he kept on interrupting me, like he didn't want to listen to what I was saying. I tried to express how we felt about his system, it seemed like people would come sign the list and then went about their business in the mall, and when they return, they still have their place in the list even though they missed. Common sense, if a person missed the first chance, then, they should be placed in the end of the list. That is understood, and pretty much that is the case anywhere. We were hungry, but never leave because we didn't want to miss our chance, knowingly that if we missed, we would be placed at the end of the list. But that was not what's happening there. And if the doctor or anybody else puts himself in our shoes, then he would clearly understand how frustrated that would be. Dr. Chu refused to hear me out, and he said that he had been doing this system for a long time, and he gives people a second chance. But of course, if that’s what he wants to do, that’s great, but do it at the end of the list. Professionally, he could have responded to my suggestion like: "I apologize for your long wait. Thank you for your suggestion. I have done this for a long time, however, I hear you, and not promising anything but will see what works better." I mean even though he is not going to even consider my suggestion, but do it professionally. I said my comments. It is up to each individual if they wish to go there or not. Even the girls at the front desk agreed with me, but they couldn't say anything because they don't work for this doctor. They said Dr. Chu works alone.
