  I had a similar experience as "B.Lady". I went for treatment 1 painful vein in my leg. As there was pain, it was covered under OHIP... in 10 appointments the doctor only treated the problem vein TWICE and the second treatment was only because I directly stood my ground and argued with her. The rest of the time she was wandering all over my legs injecting veins that were "bulging slightly" or "unsightly", basically cosmetic treatments ... ?!?! I began to feel like she was just running up charges on my OHIP. The last time I went she actually just decided to move over to my OTHER leg which had no pain or problems whatsoever. I refused any more appointment after that. As the other reviewer pointed out... they wouldn't always pull the privacy curtains shut, so I was left exposed in a gown during treatments... I also noticed syringe caps on the floor on 2 different occasions and well as a lot of dust and dirt on the floors... during long waiting periods. I too, got impatient looks or talked over whenever I tried to get clarification on the treatment plan or why the painful vein was not being addressed... Heading back to family doctor for referral elsewhere.
