- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The investment was a loss of money for me. They blamed everything on the economy. 13 years of savings and I could have done better if I put the money under my mattress. Don't get me wrong - they were loosing money over the ENTIRE 13 years, not only the last two bad economic ones. My child was supposed to receive $18,000 a year when i signed up in 1996.
