- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪'Heaven' won't have dentists, I'm sure, but if it did, it would surely have the Danforth Children's Dentistry. This is the sweetest, kindest, most child-friendly, child-sensitive, child-loving medical office I have ever encountered. Toys, movies, and games entertain in the big bright airy waiting room. Free gum-ball machines filled with stickers, little action figures, toys, and games are waiting for kids when they finish their procedure. TVs play cartoons over every examination chair to help distract kids. And an affectionate, gentle, loving, kind, and talented dentist guides them through every step. Everyone is lovely and clearly trained in how to communicate with little kids, making bearable even the worse dental procedure (we had 8 cavities, a root canal, and a crown). The dentist (Aisha Romain) called me after every visit to discuss options and find out how my son was doing. She never rushed me and explained everything, and really listened to my concerns and gave options which considered by input. If I had known about them I would have been taking my child on regular visits since he was a baby. But I went once to the local horrible dentist and had such a bad experience never took my child again until his teeth were really bad. Don't let this happen to you! Go to the Danforth Children's Dentistry ASAP. We live in the West End of Toronto, and it was still 100% worth the trip. One last comment, they really do their best to make everything painless, even for the parents - the bill was totally reasonable, and they did every thing to keep costs down.
