- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was 8 months pregnant when I went to this dental office to get a normal teeth cleaning done even though I had previously gotten one 4 months before this and have good oral hygiene. I asked them how much it would cost before the procedure began but they told me they couldn't tell me because it depended on the condition of my teeth. I decided to go ahead and get this done anyway since I have really good teeth (brush twice a day, floss, go to the dentist regularly). I also figured that insurance would pay for 80% of it anyway and the price wouldn't be that bad for teeth like mine. After the procedure was done, the hygienist told the dentist to come check my teeth and without even seeing me the dentist wanted to send me for xrays (obviously to make more money). Yes, she wanted to send a pregnant woman for xrays without even looking at my teeth to see if I needed any. The hygienist told her that she can't because I'm pregnant. After that, when I was leaving I asked them the cost of the procedure and one again they did not tell me. They simply said they will bill me for whatever my insurance doesn't cover. I was okay with this as well because I usually don't pay much to get my teeth cleaned anyway since I have good teeth. A few days later I found out they charged my insurance $300+ and now I owe them $90 because that's the 20% my insurance doesn't cover. I'm sooo furious! Don't go there. These people will do anything for money. Plus the place didn't look very clean and I would've never gone there if my own dentist had a Saturday appointment available.by Jamal AbdullahMay 29, 2017
