- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I recently called ICON Insurance Brokers to request a quote for Auto Insurance. I explained to the woman on the phone that I'm trying to save money on insurance as quotes from competitors were far to high and I can't afford paying over $150/month for insurance. She was advising that I purchase extremely high liability coverage as well as all the bells and whistle they could possibly tack on. When I suggested that those would increase my rates she said that she wouldn't "advise" I go any lower. When I said I appreciate her advice but would like a quote with the reduced coverage anyway, she hung up the phone on me.
