  Amazing experience: was treated by Dr. McKenna over the past several months – A true gentleman and professional doctor – soft-spoken, extremely caring and compassionate, precise and competent, and continuously concerned about patient’s comfort – DEFINITELY helped make my experience easily bearable (contrary to many scary internet reviews), with very little, negligible pain. Personally walked me to the recovery room on each occasion and ensured I was comfortable. To be honest, I was so paranoid about the Rubber Band Ligation (RBL) prior to taking the plunge but now, having done it on 2 occasions with Dr. McKenna (1 RBL at first session and then 3 RBLs at second session), I will, in a heart-beat, recommend it to anyone contemplating it - am blown-away and still in disbelief that my 3rd third degree painful health issue which plagued me for over 20 years, has completely vanished – giving me my normal life back and eliminating the need for painful surgery(hence this from-my-heart, genuine gratitude to him)! And I definitely want to thank the staff too: for the outstandingly compassionate bedside manner by Leigh and Raghad, and the helpful and positive attitude of reception staff Diego and Ruby – in all, a very positive experience.
