  I just experienced the worst interaction with the post office assistant lady. She was racist and incompetent. I have been living in Canada since more than 2 years now, and it is the first time that such an awful customer service has been given to me. Today on October 6th around 6:30pm, I went to pick up a parcel from Europe (where I'm originally from), I brought my ID and my confirmation of address in Toronto (lease contract matching with the parcel address) and she absolutely refused to give me my parcel, saying that my french ID was not valid in Canada. I assured her that it was valid (and was very surprised that she dares claiming it was not) telling her that Canadian Government & Law allow it here. She kept being rude and stubborn, very impolite in front of everybody on the line. I asked her to call her manager to come in order to check my ID and my proof of living in the neighbourhood, but she refused and asked for my passport. I told her she was NOT allowed to ask for my passport (only Police Department, Airport Customs and Immigration Service Authority are) and also that the pick-up document did NOT require a passport, only ID is written on the sheet. I kept fighting for the parcel I paid for, and my legal right to pick it up basically, until she finally went to grab it and threw it at me. This is an abusing behaviour from this asian lady, such discrimination is unacceptable. She disrespected me making assumption that my ID was not legal. Not even a legit one. This is not the first time that I hear bad reviews regarding this post office... Advice ? HIRE NEW STAFF ASAP
